We seemed to have a busier migration this year. Sighted more hummers 3rd week in September than we can remember and the juice in the feeders also reflected this. We noticed with the days getting shorter how they came to the feeder a few minutes later every morning! I have posted a picture of one sitting on the shepherd hook around 6:30 p.m. as if guarding the feeder on Monday, September 23. The last one at our feeder was at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25 and did not see any the remaining of the day or yesterday September 26.
