1 female hummer buzzing the flowers and hitting the feeder about 1/2 hour after sunrise this morning (another might be around also). Didn't see her at first light like usual. Very pleasantly surprised to still have 2 female hummers at the feeders last night. Longer intervals between sightings at feeders the last few days. This extends last year's sightings by one day. It has been very fun watching the migration this fall. Seems like more hummers came through this year. Maybe the late spring has something to do with it or because it is warmer at this time this year than last. Had a couple yellow-rumped warblers pass through. Have had a hummingbird bug hanging around for a few days also.
