One mature female visited one of our 6 feeders. Interesting, she then flew up to the exact branch from the female "went south" 3 days ago... We're wondering if it's the same female, or a migrating one just passing thru? Last year we witnessed a mom returning several days later, after 'escorting' her imm. male south... showing him the right path to S.America but not ready to leave here herself? So interesting, and we look forward to seeing where they all end up for their winter homes.
