I was greeted this morning by a migrant male who came to nectar on the native Golden Crownbeard I've established on our property. I've noticed that some Monarchs prefer the pink, red and orange zinnias, whereas others nectar exclusively on the yellow blooms of the native sunflowers and crownbeard plants.
