While driving out of Manitowoc WI, north on Johnson drive(about 2 miles west of Lake Michigan) I spotted 7 Monarchs flying south west. This is the most Monarchs I have seen in the wild for the entire season! Eggs were found in our area as late as Sept 1st. I still have 8 chrysalis that will emerge by next week. A friend of mine still had a caterpillar as of Sept 25th.
