Today I observed 6 monarchs on the beach at Harrisville State Park along the Lake Huron shoreline 2-4 PM.. Three were females and the others I could not see the gender. Weather was sunny, 67 F., after an all night rainfall with the Wind NW at 10 mph. I have now observed 321 monarchs for September. My average is 355 for September of 2010-2012 each year.
