Last hummingbird seen on my feeders was Tues. Sept. 24, 2013.
I had 3 hummingbirds starting on around May 10, 2013 was the first sighting. There seemed to be a frenzy of extra trips to the 3 feeders I have the week of Sept. 9,2013. That week I had a fantastic hummingbird show fighting over feeders for 15 minutes until 2 of them gave up, and only one returned after the 15 min.
Did not see many ruby throated this year only one and it did not have a large band of red only a very tiny one. I had more last year and hope they return next april or may. They love the lantana's and the sage.
