I feel so fortunate 2 have been on fire island, ny, 40 years ago when hundreds of thousands of monarchs gathered and then one day all took flight across the ocean while i, alone on the beach, in the midst of a literal blizzard of monarchs a truly spiritual experience keep nectar producing flowers and a hummingbird feeder on my city terrace now and this year i have seen not one of either; highly unusual; believe it or not even in the midst of the city because of my focus, i often see a lone monarch struggling above the blaring traffic; thanks for your service
