I tagged a male with faded wings. It was feeding on a Pickerel flower growing at a pond we have at work. 2:30 pm, bright, sunny day 10/01/2013
I tagged a female. Much better condition color-wise/brighter but she did have damage to one hind wind, missing a small portion.2:40 pm, 10/01/2013
Both then fed on Mexican Milkweed in the USDa/ARS/SPA People's Garden and took advantage of a broken sprinkler head to drink water in flooded grass area.
