Good morning bird people,It's a beautiful day in eastern Nebraska! The black birds have amassed in my neighborhood. There were 6 in the birdbath trying to use it all at the same time.Water fling everywhere. My little nuthatches are cashing sunflower seeds all over the bur oaks.I have not seen any flocks of geese yet.I still have 1 hummer here. All the butterflies seem to be mad for the mealy cup sage.Lots of honeybees. The woodpeckers have been here a lot in the last couple of weeks.(Downeys,Red bellies,Flickers). Also have seen a lot more blue jays.Have not seen or heard the chipping sparrows since last Friday. 85 days till Christmas!Do you start panicking now or later, A-yes B-no.I opt to have a meltdown now and get over it!:)
