Last night was exciting to me as seven monarchs floated through
the west side of the house where I sit on the porch in a matter
of 30 minutes. I didn't see anymore after 5:45 p.m. They seemed
to be on a southwest flight heading towards more forest on the
ridges. I have never found a roost.
