Checked a few alfalfa fields and saw several monarchs feeding this afternoon. Temps in the 70s, strong westerly winds, sometimes with a bit of north influence.
Fewer and fewer monarchs, despite the fine weather and ripe alfalfa fields, and of course, that's good.....they're migrating.
Bad weather coming so don't know how they will survive that.
