Watched female that has been with us all summer whom I call
Itchy as she is always preening. Today she was so full from
drinking from the feeder that some of it would squirt out from
her beak as she twisted and turned preening. She also did quite
a bit of stretching and moving her wings back. She looked like
a fighter getting ready for the "big event" I thought she might
be getting reading for the "big flight". If I don't see her in
the next few days then I know she was preparing to leave.
