There are still two broad-tailed hummingbirds frequenting our feeders and feeding on the late blooming perennials and annuals. I believe they have been here for at least two weeks. One is a mature female. The other appears to be a juvenile male. The day time temparatures have been warm the past several days with mild nights (upper 40s to low 50s), but the first hard frost (mid to upper 20s) is expected on Friday night. Hope they leave before the cold front gets here!
