Seven adult female monarchs sighted nectaring and flitting in flower garden at Oden State Fish Hatchery facility at Oden, MI within one/tenth mile of Crooked Lake. They appeared strong and healthy with flawless wings.

Sighting was at 3:00 - 3:30 p.m., temp about 63 degrees, warm sunlight, clear sky, wind approx. 5-10+ mph. They did huddle on the tall flower stems from time to time.
Gave the impression they may have stayed there to roost for the night.

Was happy to see seven together and in fine condition after seeing so few this season.
