I observed 5 Monarchs, in three separate areas, in the Mountains in North/Central Pennsylvania this past few days. The temperature was chilly at night sometimes in the 40's and cool mornings with fog, but around 70 during the day and sunny. I was surprised to see them, thought they would have been gone by now. Also saw one on my butterfly bush at my house in Beaver Falls, PA. 10/2/13, weather was warm and sunny. Will attempt to upload mountain monarch.
