On a gorgeous sunny 80 degree day, between 2 -3 pm I spotted 28 Monarchs mostly feeding on golden rod along the south shore beach of Long Island. Similar to yesterday the monarchs were flying from east to west and looked very healthy. I truly hope this continues through the weekend.
