I tagged & released one Monarch on Wednesday morning, it stayed in the yard nectaring all day, then it was gone (SHY 907. Today I will have one more to hatch, then another and after this, all my babies are born. Weather should be nice over the weekend so I will release them then and hope for the best. I have so far raise 16 healthy Monarchs, which is about 10 more than last year, which was my first year. I hope to raise much more next year. Most cats I collected died of tachinid fly parasites, but almost all eggs made it to adulthood. Waystation # 6389.
