Saw 1 of 2 females from yesterday evening a couple times this morning around 7:15. I think these hummers have been here for well over a week especially the one that hovers most of the time while feeding. Thought the change in weather would encourage them to move on. But we're still getting the enjoyment of their presence. They really prefer one feeder even though other feeders are present. Have been keeping the feeders clean with fresh nectar every few days. There is another feeder just like the one they feed on regularly but they hardly ever feed on the second one. Never thought I'd be reporting in October. This has been a great and fun hummingbird season!
