Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/03/2013

Number: 15

We are still seeing lots of monarchs nectaring on cowpen daisies. I suspect that the majority of them are roosting somewhere near, only a few were found in the area with the flowers. The trees are so tall, that it's difficult to tell if there are butterflies or leaves fluttering in the wind at dusk. The few butterflies I saw roosting were on winged elms.
