Monarch Egg Sighted

Date: 09/24/2013

Number: 5

My first monarch of the fall came through and left several eggs that I found Sept 24th. Over the next several days I brought in several for a total of 6 eggs. 3 I did not find until they were 3rd instars. Those have all sucumbed to skinny bodies, dull skin, and eventually folded in half and leaked fluid, died. No tachinid fly evidence, though.
