While out on my evening motorcycle ride I often pull over at this site to enjoy the sunset and observe other wildlife. This evening I saw what at first I thought was a large hawk flying directly towards me at treetop level. As it turned and circled roughly 100 yards away I could clearly see the white tail and head against the grey sky. I'm positive this was a Bald Eagle and I was thrilled to finally see one. Cell phone turned on too slow for a picture.
