I was in the kitchen talking to my husband and happened to look out the window and see an orange colored butterfly flying around the butterfly bush. We quickly went outside and sure enough it was a monarch. It never did land but went up into the apple tree and then back to the butterfly bush before heading off in another direction. It was nice to see our little orange friend on his or her trip south.
