Excited to see our first monarch on October 4th. It was enjoying our lantana flower nectar for about 2 hours. I took many photos. The next day I observed a lone monarch again on the same plant and also resting/laying eggs? in a sweet gum tree. I have a small milkweed plant but no eggs or larvae observed there.
