Report from the field North Texas: In 25 minutes, observed 15 monarchs heading south; Highest rate this season; to date it's the peak, but the next couple of days and in to this week could see higher rate, or sustain this rate; Cold front just passed thru day before- today day time temp = 70 degree and skies are clear; slight wind out of the north- perfect migrating weather!
