found cocoon on front bush week of 10/4. Didn't think it was warm enough to hatch. Brought inside. Hatched within 48 hours. Hung out for 2 days. It was getting very cold at nights. My friend was driving to NY, sent the butterfly home with her to release in warmer weather.
