Four Monarch butterflies were nectaring on Zinnias in the garden in the early afternoon. Three were not tagged - two males and a female. One was tagged, and looking through binoculars I saw it was a female that we reared and had released Thursday Oct 3; tag SLL 640. Observed one male chasing the other away from the flowers a few times, but eventually all settled in the zinnia patch.
