I watched as a lone Monarch went up, down, and all around a single cone of flowers on a Black Knight Butterfly bush. It seemed relaxed and stayed on the same cone for an hour opening and closing it's wings as it moved about, then flitted off to a nearby pink butterfly bush about 10 feet away where it stayed for about half an hour. It was an overcast, muggy day in the 70s.
