Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/04/2013

Number: 1

First, our students got our planter boxes ready earlier in the week. They observed that our boxes had become a habitat for many species. We had our state partners from Thanksgiving point come and do some instruction. The students cut their tulip bulbs in half, drew the different parts, labeled them, and some even tasted them! Then we went out and planted the tulip bulbs in our boxes. It was a cold day, 43 degrees! The students then recorded their observations in their tulip notebooks. They were all so excited and keep asking when they can check on them.
