Four days ago I noticed 2 monarchs feeding on the butterfly bush in my backyard. They have been hanging around for the last 4 days still feeding. This is very late in the season. Last night the temperature was in the mid forties. I'm afraid they have left it too late to make the migration. I hope I am wrong. I have been noticing on the posts that a lot of sightings seem to be later than usual. I hope tomorrow when I look for them they will have left.
