this morning at 9:15, cloudy, a constant blustery wind, and 57 degrees, a Monarch floated down into the garden, nectaring on the old standby, Mexican Sunflowers.
Have only seen five Monarchs in the garden the entire summer, but for the past week, there have been at least 5 per day. One year ago this time, we had 30-40 in the garden daily for at least 2 weeks, again on the Mexican Sunflowers
