Landed on a gravel road behind the local Price Chopper. Lots of milkweed and standing water near by. Found while riding my bicycle to the store. The butterfly seemed tired to me. It flew around some when it knew I was there in large irregular circles usually about one foot off the ground. It would fly and stop, fly and stop. I wouldn't let it land in the parking lot. There may have been two but I did not see both at the same time so it could be the same one flying around.
