At elementary schools in Dallas today we released 16 monarch butterflies that had been captive reared; they are joining their monarch counterparts in the migration that is having a good showing in our North Texas area this week- #'s started looking good last weekend and the migration has been solid all week; We should have clear and mild weather tomorrow as well, another good day for migration; then this weekend some rain is predicted; All in all October is looking great in terms of monarchs across North Texas!
