Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/09/2013

Number: 1

Students were outside creating fall art drawings when one student spotted it. We grabbed our butterfly nets and tags and successfully captured it, tagged it, and then released it. Any sightings this year have only been of one monarch at a time. Our fall weather has been beautiful with sunny skies and highs of 18 degrees Celsius.
