I had taken my feeders down had not seen any hummers in over a week. I happened to look out because it was raining here and I saw first 1 on a flower then she sat on a long piece of ornamental grass and in a few minutes another came by and buzzed her! Not sure if the 2nd was male or female. They visited flowers a few places in my yard then disappeared. Later I saw one again on purple salvia so I drug out a small feeder filled it with extra sweet nectar just in case. Sad to say I haven't seen either today yet : ( Will leave the feeder out a few more days, they were probably just passing thru, not regulars. : )
