New adult. Just hatched and was drying out and getting its bearings on our marigolds in vegetable garden. Saw fewer Monarchs overall this year and the ones we did see showed up very late in the summer...August were our first sightings. We have milkweed in our area so we see caterpillars too b it all late this year compared to others.
