The one and only monarch I saw all season was Saturday afternoon, 9/12/13, as I was enjoying the beauty of my zinnia garden. She was across from me on one of the flower tops, as I looked up we were eye ball to eye ball. She stayed a few minutes,I called my husband over to observe and then sent him for the camera. I was completely still and then she flew around me, the flowers and the yard for a minute or two and then flew off over the fence. I was not able to get a picture. It was beautiful site,one I missed all summer.
