Fog covered the valley to south early morning. Turned to cloudy and overcast with storms to south, but they did not reach us. High humidity. South wind. Turned to partly cloudy after 13:00. Temp approached 90 degrees late afternoon. South wind. Checked monarchs about 16:00. Monarchs on flowers, especially where wind sheltered, and many in trees and groves. Monarchs flew when I approached but resettled very quickly.
