The super monarchs have gone. We had a dozen or more every day for the past two-three weeks. Today, Sunday, none. Beautiful day, 70's, sunny, very light breeze, so perfect for nectaring, but the monarchs have left. I pray they arrive in Mexico safely and will eagerly await their return next May, crossing my farm on their journey north. Then, the wonderful return to my farm in late August, early September to mate, lay eggs, and so forth for the final super monarchs to enjoy my gardens before their journey south. God bless the monarchs.
