Monarchs on flowers, but once again far more in groves and large trees. Mostly perched, fly briefly when disturbed.

This is by far the longest period (since Oct 6) we have seen peak migration monarchs continuously. We have had pulses separated by more time, but not continuously here. We have now only begun the usual period in which peak migration passes through this location. Wind forecast is south until sometime Tuesday Oct 15.
