St. Mary School Ecology Club planted our Journey North Tulip Test Garden today. Students learned about being a citizen scientist, and how to choose a planting sight. They dug and measured holes to exactly 7 inches, dropped in their Red Emperor Tulip bulbs, covered them with soil and watered their bulbs. I covered the bulbs with chicken wire and leaf mulch. Mission accomplished with 3 teachers, 2 parent helpers and 28 students!
