Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 10/16/2013

Number: 1

It was a nice sunny fall day when our grade 2&3 students set out to plant our tulip bulbs. The temperature was 16C or 61F. We have had a warmer and dry fall so far this year compared to other years. We made sure that we planted the bulbs with the tip pointing up and then covered them over with lots of soil. All together we planted 70 Red Emperor tulip bulbs. Before we had planted we went through the checklist to make sure our garden was in the right spot. Once againg we are partnering with the Garde 2 classes at St. John's Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas. We will keep you posted on the progress of our garden and when spring will arrive in Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada.
