1155. Large grove only. The “cold” front is almost here. Temp 72. Wind WSW brisk. Light rain, large drops. Some Monarchs flying around grove, many gliding high, but not directional - flying around then landing. But some also still perched immobile on low limbs.

1230. Temp 67 wind NW, less rain. Some Monarchs could have been riding off on the wind, but hard to tell. Monarchs are starting to gather on south side of trees that line an interior opening in the grove. Some fly out and re-perch. Others folded.

1300. Temp dropping slowly, now about 65. Wind N. Monarchs continue to glide high around and over grove.

1430 temp 60. Raining harder. Saw fewer than 20 monarchs. Some flying just outside grove, others perched along outside flexing wings. Others under trees wings folded.
