bringing in all the feeders to be washed
and store away for next year's hummers. Reached up to get one of the last
three out front and something whizzed past me and landed on feeder
farthest from me..I thought it was a very large bumblebee at first..
Couldnt believe what I was seeing...a hummingbird!
I thought they all had left by now. It was plump..and kindof rumpled
looking...but still...its still here!! As soon as the hummer finished eating
and flew up in the pine tree in our yard..
I cleaned and refilled two feeders outside our front window..
I will keep watch tomorrow...maybe it was just traveling thru..
Either way..I will keep the feeders fresh and filled until Halloween even :))
