I had the day off today (Oct. 16), so I decided that time is running out for my annual fall visit to coastal Brunswick County to look for goodies/strays, etc. It was 99% cloud cover all day in Brunswick, definitely hampering my efforts. Lots of things had to be flushed from fields, and lantana was mostly lacking butterflies.

Monarch 18 more than rest of the year combined, I think!
