I was vacationing in PalmSprings,CA last week and saw 3 hummingbirds. One seemed like it may have been a full time resident because it would chase the other hummingbird away.I even saw him/her perch on a palm branch for some time. Something Id never seen before. Two of them looked identical but one was noticably lighter in color, sand colored almost cream or whitish. I tried to get a picture several times but my camera was not good enough to see it in detail.(
