I was on a long walk about a mile from my house and saw, in ones and twos, monarchs flying about 15 to 20 feet overhead. They were flying on a definite NW to SE trajectory. All looked strong except one who appeared to be injured.

Time observed: 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM CST.

No zoom lens on camera so no photos.
