First sighting this year. I saw a single monarch late yesterday afternoon for a few minutes on Russian sage. Today a single monarch spent many hours getting nectar from Tithonia (Mexican Sunflower).
I don't see Monarchs every year where I live and when I do it is usually
only as they are passing through. It was wonderful to have one spend the
entire afternoon in my garden.
