Today was cool and rainy all day in Williamsburg, VA. I went for a run this morning in the Matoaka Woods and the trail was completely covered by leaves and pine needles. Most of the deciduous trees have lost about 40-50% of their leaves it appears. Even the low-lying plants have shriveling and browning leaves.
