Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/20/2013

Number: 1

I spotted a monarch around 2pm this afternoon. Wings were bright and flying southwest about 15 feet above ground. This is the first sighting I have observed this fall. I observed only one monarch during the spring migration. Most of the wildflowers are past peak. Hope the monarchs will bounce back from these low numbers. Fall is not the same when they are not around.

Weather conditions
Clear Skies with light NE winds and temperature in the low 60's.
